Ms. Linnell Fall is a long-time movement leader with Maryland Poor People's Campaign, a Safe Homes Now coalition member. Yesterday, she moved into a new house after putting all of her money toward movers, rent, and security deposit. The very next day (this morning) sheriffs showed up to the property to throw her out!! It turns out the landlord scammed her by renting her a property that already had a foreclosure eviction scheduled. She now has no resources and nowhere to go.
